Now in its third generation, the Touareg boasts a spacious and stylish interior. In the fully digitized “Innovision Cockpit”, the 12-inch display of the fully graphic cluster instrument merges with the 15-inch display of the “top infotainment system Discover Premium” in the center console to form a single glass-fronted unit.
The cockpit is largely free from traditional switches and buttons and serves as a model for the digital interiors of tomorrow.
The vehicle is networked via a permanently installed embedded SIM. This establishes a connection to the Internet and ensures that the Touareg is “always on”. In this way, navigation maps are kept constantly up to date and real-time traffic information can be called up online.
