We at e.solutions also played our part:, not only was there a facelift on the outside, but the inner values were also optimized. For example, the fully digital MMI operating system - a large TFT display with acoustic feedback as a replacement for the turn-push button - offers a user experience like a modern smartphone and continues the digitalization of the cockpit. It is used to control the infotainment and some comfort functions as well as for whole-word entry via handwriting or virtual keyboard.

The software behind the system again comes from e.solutions and we have made some changes in this field. For the operating system we now use Linux and in the UI development we switched to HTML 5, thus to web technology to enable shorter turnaround times. This especially reduces development times. With HTML5, JavaScript and the Angular Framework have also found their way into our systems. With this, probably the world's largest Angular project is taking place at e.solutions.

The services of Audi Connect and Audi connect plus are also part of the MMI plus. These include online radio and hybrid radio, which automatically switches between FM, DAB+ and online stations and ensures a seamless transition. Here e.solutions develops both client applications and in the server area.

The cluster instrument (FPK2+) also offers new possibilities. For example, if you choose Audi virtual cockpit plus, you can switch between three different versions: classic view, sport mode and dynamic mode.
